Dear Friend: Welcome to the Blue Water Free Methodist Church. Every church wants to say something so important right about here. We just want you to see Jesus. We just want you to see Jesus in us. We want you to find hope in the Savior we have come to know, love, and the one we serve. We want to reflect Jesus. We want you to want to reflect Jesus. Every day of our lives we desire to follow the Lord, but we also desire to be “All In” followers of the one person, the one God who when he died on the cross, he gave us 2000 years of motivation to do whatever it takes to be the people of God he has called us to be. On our best days, we love Jesus with all our heart, and love those God puts in our path. On our bad days, we are simply forgiven, for we find in our repentant hearts healing and grace. Truth is, we are on a journey with Jesus. Whether you have found him or are searching, we would love to walk with you. I want to invite you to “reflect” Jesus as an “all in” follower of him. Pastor Randy Bennett
Covid-19 Response Since March 15, when the “Stay at home, Stay safe” order came down, we have been worshipping in our homes, not here at our church. Our skeleton worship staff have been providing online services each Sunday on “Facebook Live” on our “Blue Water Free Methodist Church” Facebook page. A full-length service with music is posted live each Sunday at 10:45 am, and a message only version on our website at bluewaterfmchurch.com. We hope to return to live on campus services soon, real soon. Until then you can check us out each week online. Also, on Wednesdays, we believe in prayer, so our “Facebook Live” prayer meeting happens at 6:30 pm on, you guessed it, “Blue Water Free Methodist Church” Facebook. These sure have been creative ministry days. Learning how to be online has been a challenge for most of our church. But we have learned beautiful new ways of doing God’s work his way. After this is over, we will not be the same people as before, and we will keep some of these changes among us now. If we stay positive, we will succeed. If we stay supportive, we will all climb this crazy hill together. If we worship well, fellowship well and grow well, we will not lose ground in our walk with God, but will in fact gain ground. No one’s going to stop us from growing in our faith, and winning those want a Savior in the midst of this chaos. That’s what it means to reflect Jesus and be all in followers of him.
